Iverhuman 12mg Tablets IVERHUMAN 12 contains Ivermectin, a broad-spectrum antiparasitic agent belonging to the avermectin class. Ivermectin acts by selectively binding with high affinity to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels present in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells. This binding leads to an increased cell membrane permeability to chloride ions, causing hyperpolarization of nerve and muscle cells, leading to flaccid paralysis and death of the parasite. IVERHUMAN 12 is indicated for human use in the treatment of intestinal strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis (river blindness), lymphatic filariasis, scabies, and other susceptible parasitic nematode infestations.
