Dacikast-60 Tablets Dacikast-60 contains Daclatasvir, a potent inhibitor of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) non-structural protein 5A (NS5A). The NS5A protein plays an essential, multi-functional role in both HCV RNA replication and the assembly of infectious virions. By binding to the N-terminus of domain 1 of the NS5A protein, daclatasvir induces conformational changes that disrupt the localization and hyperphosphorylation of NS5A, leading to effective suppression of hyper-expressed viral RNA synthesis and blockade of virion secretion. Dacikast-60 is indicated for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in adult patients across genotypes 1, 3, and 4 as a component of a combination antiviral regimen (typically co-administered with Sofosbuvir, with or without Ribavirin).
