SUKINSA 25 Capsules SUKINSA 25 contains Sunitinib, a small-molecule multi-targeted receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) inhibitor. It acts by inhibiting platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFR-alpha and PDGFR-beta), vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR-1, VEGFR-2, and VEGFR-3), stem cell factor receptor (KIT), FLT3, colony-stimulating factor receptor (CSF-1R), and RET. This inhibition reduces tumor angiogenesis, vascular permeability, and tumor growth. It is indicated for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC), gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) after disease progression on or intolerance to imatinib, and progressive, well-differentiated pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET) in patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic disease.
