LANIB 250 Tablets LANIB 250 contains Lapatinib, an orally active small-molecule dual inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR/ErbB1) and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2/ErbB2) tyrosine kinase domains. By reversibly binding to the intracellular ATP-binding site of these receptors, it inhibits autophosphorylation and downstream signal transduction, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis of tumor cells. It is indicated for the treatment of patients with advanced or metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer, in combination with capecitabine, or in combination with letrozole for hormone receptor-positive, HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women.
