IMJUDO 300 mg IMJUDO contains Tremelimumab-actl, a human IgG2 monoclonal antibody that targets cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4). CTLA-4 is a immune checkpoint receptor that downregulates T-cell activation. By binding to CTLA-4, tremelimumab blocks its interaction with B7.1 (CD80) and B7.2 (CD86) ligands, thereby enhancing T-cell activation and proliferation, augmenting anti-tumor immune responses, and fostering immune-mediated tumor cell killing. It is indicated, in combination with durvalumab (Imfinzi), for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
