Armotraz 1 mg Tablets Armotraz contains Anastrozole, a potent non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. It acts by selectively inhibiting the aromatase enzyme, which converts adrenal androgens to estrogens in peripheral tissues. By reducing circulating serum estrogen concentrations, it deprives hormone-sensitive tumor cells of the growth-stimulating effects of estrogen. It is indicated for the adjuvant treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive early breast cancer, as well as the first-line or second-line treatment of postmenopausal women with advanced or metastatic breast cancer.
