GOparib 150 Tablets GOparib 150 contains Olaparib, a potent inhibitor of human poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase enzymes (PARP-1, PARP-2, and PARP-3). It functions by trapping PARP enzymes onto single-strand DNA breaks, preventing DNA repair and leading to double-strand breaks during replication. In cancer cells with homologous recombination repair deficiencies (such as BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations), this induces synthetic lethality and tumor cell apoptosis. It is indicated for the maintenance treatment of BRCA-mutated advanced ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer, germline BRCA-mutated HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer, metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), and BRCA-mutated metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
