Temoside 20 Capsules Temoside 20 contains Temozolomide, an oral alkylating agent. At physiological pH, it undergoes rapid non-enzymatic conversion to its active chemical form, MTIC. The primary cytotoxic activity of MTIC is attributed to the methylation of DNA at the O6 and N7 positions of guanine. This DNA damage triggers apoptosis and cell death in tumor cells. It is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme concurrently with radiotherapy and subsequently as maintenance therapy, as well as for patients with refractory anaplastic astrocytoma.
