Myezom 2mg Injection Myezom 2 contains Bortezomib, a reversible inhibitor of the chymotrypsin-like activity of the 26S proteasome in mammalian cells. The 26S proteasome is a large protein complex that degrades ubiquitinated proteins. Blocking the proteasome pathway prevents targeted proteolysis, disrupting intracellular signaling cascades, causing cell cycle arrest, and inducing apoptosis, particularly in cancer cells that are highly dependent on rapid protein turnover. Myezom 2 is indicated for the treatment of patients with multiple myeloma and mantle cell lymphoma who have received at least one prior therapy.
