MEQSEL 2 mg Tablets MEQSEL contains Trametinib, a reversible and highly selective allosteric inhibitor of mitogen-activated extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1 (MEK1) and MEK2. It blocks downstream signal transduction in the MAPK pathway, inhibiting tumor cell proliferation. It is primarily indicated, often in combination with Dabrafenib, for treating patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma carrying BRAF V600E or V600K mutations, metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with a BRAF V600E mutation, and advanced BRAF V600E-mutated anaplastic thyroid cancer.
