EURELIX Injection
EURELIX Injection EURELIX contains Cetrorelix Acetate, a synthetic decapeptide that acts as a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist. It works by competing with endogenous GnRH for binding to membrane receptors on pituitary cells, thereby suppressing the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). This inhibition prevents premature LH surges and premature ovulation during controlled ovarian stimulation in women undergoing assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures such as in vitro fertilization (IVF).
