OXAZER-100 Injection OXAZER-100 contains Oxaliplatin, a third-generation platinum-based antineoplastic compound featuring a 1,2-diaminocyclohexane (DACH) carrier ligand. Oxaliplatin undergoes non-enzymatic transformation in physiological solutions to yield active aquated species. These reactive intermediates bind to DNA, preferentially forming intrastrand cross-links between adjacent guanine residues or adjacent guanine and adenine residues, as well as interstrand cross-links. The presence of the bulky DACH ring blocks the binding of mismatch repair (MMR) proteins and impedes nucleotide excision repair pathways, causing replication fork arrest, inhibition of RNA transcription, and induction of apoptosis. OXAZER-100 is supplied as a concentrated solution for intravenous infusion and is indicated for the adjuvant treatment of stage III colon cancer (following complete resection) and for the treatment of advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer, typically in combination with 5-fluorouracil and leucovorin (FOLFOX regimens).
