Prolia 60 mg/mL

Prolia 60 mg/mL Prolia contains Denosumab, a human monoclonal antibody (IgG2) that targets and binds with high affinity to RANKL (receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B ligand). By inhibiting RANKL, it prevents the activation of its receptor RANK on the surface of osteoclasts and their precursors, thereby suppressing osteoclast formation, function, and survival, leading to decreased bone resorption and increased bone mineral density. It is indicated for the treatment of postmenopausal women with osteoporosis at high risk for fracture, bone loss in men receiving androgen deprivation therapy for non-metastatic prostate cancer, bone loss in women receiving adjuvant aromatase inhibitor therapy for breast cancer, and glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis.
