DOCEKAST-80 Injection

DOCEKAST-80 Injection DOCEKAST-80 contains Docetaxel, a semi-synthetic taxane antineoplastic agent derived from the precursor extracted from the European yew (Taxus baccata). Docetaxel promotes microtubule assembly by enhancing tubulin dimerization and stabilizing tubulin polymers, while simultaneously inhibiting microtubule depolymerization. This action prevents normal mitotic spindle assembly and dynamics, resulting in cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase boundary, suppression of intracellular transport mechanisms, and induction of programmed cell death (apoptosis). DOCEKAST-80 is formulated using Ready-To-Use (RTU) single-vial technology for dilution and intravenous infusion. It is indicated for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), gastric adenocarcinoma, and locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN).
