TUDOBEST Tablets TUDOBEST contains Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate, an acyclic nucleoside phosphonate diester analog of adenosine monophosphate. Following oral administration and systemic absorption, it is converted to tenofovir and subsequently phosphorylated to active tenofovir diphosphate. Active tenofovir diphosphate competes with natural deoxyadenosine 5'-triphosphate for binding to viral reverse transcriptase and viral DNA polymerase, incorporating into the viral DNA strand to cause DNA chain termination. TUDOBEST is indicated for the treatment of chronic Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in adult and pediatric patients, as well as for the management of HIV-1 infection in combination with other antiretroviral agents.
